Think my obsession has gone too far
It’s weird. Like I’m not good with words at all, or trying to voice my thoughts, and everything seems so logical in my head. But as soon as I try to explain myself to somebody else, just the wrong words come out. And I feel like when someone has the patience to sit and listen to me struggle, I just contradict myself and confuse myself, so god help the other person. It’s horrible aswell because I have such strong opinions on everything and I love kinda heated, deep conversations, but somewhere between my brain and my vocal chords, things just get muddled. And a lot of the people I know are really good with words, and I feel kinda like my minds locked in a little box and just stays there. So I’ve started to listen, and I’ve found out I’m a really good listener, and I really like listening to people talk, and their opinions. Maybe it’s just the universes way of telling me to shut up for a moment.
Philia is the love between friends. Friendship is the strong bond existing between people who share common interest or activity. Friendship is exceedingly profound because it is freely chosen. Friendship Love is different from the other Loves. Friendship is described as, “the least biological, organic, instinctive, gregarious and necessary of our Loves” - our species does not need Friendship in order to reproduce. “To the Ancients, Friendship seemed the happiest and most fully human of all loves; the crown of life and the school of virtue. The modern world, in comparison, ignores it”. Few people in modern society appreciate true Friendship because few of them have experienced it.
